In searching for my son's birth mom, I encountered this petition. It requests that original birth certificates and adoption records be opened for adult adoptees. Only seven states in this country open records to adoptees. One might argue that it's a civil rights issue.
Please look at this and consider signing the petition. It will be presented to appropriate elected officials. Thank you.
