Beale Street Music Festival

Jeff Beck, Bobby Blue Bland, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Michael McDonald are just a few of the headliners scheduled for the three days of concerts at Tom Lee Park on the beautiful Mississippi River. The Beale Street Music Festival kicks off the annual Memphis in May celebration that includes an international barbecue competition, the Sunset Symphony and so much more.

Good news is that a good friend is coming into town with some gal pals for the event and I'll get to see her. Bad news is that rain and thunderstorms are predicted throughout the weekend. That's the usual weather for the festival, however, and music fans don their boots and slickers and come anyway to groove to tons of great music.

Here's a link to the full schedule.
