Mike's genealogy research has turned up volumes of interesting material. Yesterday I overheard him relating this one to a musician friend who was in the office.
Sarah Plunk, a second cousin of Mike's who was born in 1871, was married and bore eight children. Her husband was Isham Pinckney Floyd.
Mr. Floyd had a nickname, and that's the name Mike discovered in census documents which clearly prove that Mike is related by marriage to "Pink" Floyd.
His music career was obviously pre-destined.
